I had the chance to photograph one of my friend's wonderful Amabenz Events: amapiano dance parties in different locations all over Stuttgart, sometimes with delicious african or carribean food offerings. I really wanted to capture the feeling of those nights; the high energy, the joy, the kinship happening in every moment. The photos are shot on analogue, which was definetly challenging considering the low-light aspect of most locations. In the end however, those factors contibuted to an unique look which I only had to touch up slightly.
